France to host moot to help Pakistan flood victims

NEW YORK:  France will support Pakistan for reanimation of frugality and reconstruction in the wake of ruinous cataracts in Pakistan.

 Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and French President Emmanuel Macron Tuesday had a bilateral meeting on the sidelines of the 77th Session of the UN General Assembly( UNGA) in New York. 

Besides an exchange of views on perfecting bilateral relations, the two leaders agreed on mobilising transnational support for Pakistan to help recover and rebuild its frugality on a sustainable footing in the fate of recent ruinous cataracts in Pakistan. 

 In order to gather the applicable International Financial mates and development mates, France will host an transnational conference before the end of the time aiming at contributing to the recuperation and reconstruction of flood tide- affected areas of Pakistan and, with the help of climate- flexible reconstruction related backing, to accelerate transition to renewable energy. 

The premier also had a meeting with Spanish President Pedro Sanchez on the sidelines of UNGA. Shehbaz stressed the need for heightening the multifaceted Pakistan- Spain relations with a particular emphasis oninter-parliamentary ties as well as security and defence cooperation. The Spanish chairman called for bilateral collaboration in the energy sector and people- to- people links. 

 The high minister appreciated the support and solidarity of Spanish government in the wake of climate- convinced massive cataracts in Pakistan and thanked for the relief backing extended by Spain to the affected people. He participated the details of desolation caused by the cataracts to crops, casing, beast and critical structure. The high minister underscored that Pakistan was among the most vulnerable countries to the impacts of climate change. He hoped the transnational community would step up and help alleviate adverse goods of the cataracts through active participation in the recuperation and reconstruction phase. 

In the indigenous environment, the high minister underscored Pakistan’s support for an inclusive, peaceful, stable, prosperous and connected Afghanistan. He added that Afghanistan faced a grave philanthropic situation as well as redoubtable challenges to its frugality. He stressed that sustained, practical and meaningful engagement of the transnational community with Afghanistan was essential for icing the weal of Afghan people and for promoting participated pretensions of peace, security and development in the country. 

 

 The PM extended an assignation to President Sanchez to visit Pakistan at his foremost convenience. In a separate meeting Shehbaz Sharif and Chancellor of Austria Karl Nehammer reviewed bilateral relations and changed views on indigenous issues. The high minister stressed the immense desolation caused by the unknown climate- convinced cataracts in Pakistan and the government’s conduct to address the colossal challenge. He thanked Austria for its loyal support for the GSP scheme, stressing that the mutually- salutary arrangement had yielded positive results for both sides. 

The high minister also met Iranian President Seyed Ebrahim Raisi and reiterated his gratefulness to the government and people of Iran for their solidarity and support with the Pakistani nation in the wake of massive cataracts.  

 During the meeting, the two leaders agreed to consolidate and broaden bilateral cooperation across a broad range of areas, including profitable and trade, energy and connectivity, artistic connections, and people- to- people links. 

The high minister conveyed that Pakistan largely valued the supreme leader’s strong and loyal support for the just struggle of the people of Indian Immorally enthralled Jammu and Kashmir( IIOJ&K). 

 

 On Tuesday, Shehbaz Sharif attended the opening of high- position general debate of the 77th Session of UN General Assembly( UNGA77) being held in the General Assembly Hall. The high minister reached the UN Headquarters to attend a welcome event hosted by UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres for the heads of state/ government sharing in the UNGA session. 

During the event, the high minister interacted with New Zealand Prime Minister Jecinda Ardern. before, the high minister arrived in New York Monday night to lead Pakistan’s delegation to the 77th session of the United Nations General Assembly, in which some 140 world leaders are sharing. 

 The high minister is set to address the 193- member assembly during its high- position debate on September 23. The debate opens Tuesday and ends on September 26.
